Dick Ortega

Dick Ortega is a business attorney and advisor with more than a decade of experience working alongside business owners, and nonprofit organizations. His career has spanned complex transactional work, high-stakes litigation, and strategic advising, giving him broad exposure to how organizations grow, operate, and navigate risk over the long term.

In addition to his private practice, Dick has served on boards of directors and advised boards overseeing housing and community-focused organizations. He also served on the Budget & Finance Committee for the City of South Miami, contributing to public-sector financial planning and governance. These roles have provided him with meaningful experience in nonprofit governance, fiduciary responsibilities, and mission-driven decision-making.
